Agudas Israel Congregation is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. We offer weekly Shabbat services Saturdays at 9:30 AM, and offer a social hall, kosher kitchen, chapel, and Hebrew School.
AIC was established in 1893 and expanded to its current location at 77 North Pine Street in 1923. For more on the history of our local community, check out the book: “Voices of Hazleton A Century of Jewish Life” written by Janette Miller in 1993. Copies are available at the shul.
